We have a number of specialised facial treatments, including peels and microdermabrasion, which are available to assist with all skin concerns.  We also have a number of facials  that you can tailor to suit your requirments. 

All our facials include Ultraceuticals and some of our own INBODY unique products.

After many years of being in the beauty business we have noticed that clients no longer just want a nice relaxing facial, they want a treatment that will make a difference to their skin, so that is what we focus on... providing treatments that will make a difference for our clients.  This does not just involve the treatments themselves, but also the products that we use, which are mainly our own manufactured products and/or Ultraceuticals.

Rejuvenation Bliss

This treatment will leave your skin feel absolutely gorgeous. A rejuvenating anti-aging facial improves slackened tissue, moisturises and it also helps to lighten pigmentation, helping to maintain and prolonging your youthful appearance. This facial consists of a deep cleanse, extractions, exfoliation, reviving mask, uplifting face and neck massage and deep moisturizing treatment. A hand treatment is included.

Bee Venom Facial Treatment

The world has gone mad for Bee Venom and there is a really good reason because this product really works. This treatment incorporates a skin lifting Bee Venom Mask and a LED treatment. Also you may like to know that no bees were killed extracting this venom although it did take approximately 5000 stings to get 1 gm of bee venom.

LED Light Treatments

LED light is particularly useful for the treatment of fine lines and lax skin and scaring caused by acne. It is a non-invasive treatment which is very relaxing. We do recommend a minimum of 10 treatments to start. Individual treatments are normally $65 but we do an amazing special of 10 treatments for only $350

 

Collagen Induction Therapy

This treatment involves a roller studded with very fine needles. Depending on the skin concern the roller comes with different length needles. It is a medical device and is designed to stimulate proliferation of skin cells, which in turn, results in the formation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibres (neo-collagenesis). Needling also stimulates the creation of blood vessels in the skin which keeps the skin youthful. Why do we need new collagen and elastin fibres in the skin? They plump up the skin and leave it looking smooth and so reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles.. As well, we use a brand new roller for each treatment so we show you how to use it and give it to you to take home.  This treatment can be a little bit stingy but you will leave us with smooth and moisturised looking skin.

Microdermabrasion Treatment

Microdermabrasion or ‘skin polishing’ is a simple but extremely effective way to improve your skin quality, and in some cases even reverse the effects of sun and aging.  By removing a thin layer of skin with the application of fine abrasive grains, microdermabrasion enhances the skin’s own elasticity and regenerative qualities.

Ultrasonic Treatments

The use of ultrasound in facials is known as the European Facial and has a reputation for getting fantastic results.  For home use, you simply use the Sonion for about 15 minutes as often as you like.  If you only wish to have the benefits of the Sonion at our INBODY salon then we incorporate it in a one hour facial.  ($135).

You can purchase the Sonion for home use for only $450 plus GST.

The Sonion is a handheld machine that provides exceptional skin toning and stimulation to increase the production of collagen and elastin in the skin.  This machine is also manufactured by Pureface (as is our microderm machine), and they design the best and smartest beauty equipment on the market today.

The function of the machine and how it effects the skin is achieved in three ways:

Thermal Effect - The thermal effect, which relates to heat that is produced by vibration and penetrated into deeper tissue levels on the skin in order to rejuvenate collagen.  Ultrasonic waves are absorbed into the tissue to generate heat in skin, fat and muscles.  Heat is generated into the skin to a depth of 4-5 centimetres.  Ultrasonic thermal effect stimulates blood circulation, lymphatic circulation, strengthens blood vessels, and boosts metabolism.

Mechanical Effect -  The mechanical effect, which relates to the high-speed vibrations that act on the tissue just like a micro-massage. Chemical Effect - the chemical effect, which can be summarised by the following: activated skin by inducing collagen renewal; regulates pH of the skin;  improves skin overall clarity and condition; improves blood flow and circulation; relaxes the muscles; and reduces inflammation and pain relief.

And for those of you who are interested in the technical aspects of the Sonion... the Pureface Sonion uses the most common therapeutic ultrasonic frequency, one megahertz (1Mhz).  A megahertz is a unit of frequency equal to one million cycles per second.  The Pureface Sonion ultrasonic function maximises the ultrasonic massage by using our patented digital output modulation method.

My goodness, we love collagen induction therapy, also known as derma rolling or needling. This is because it really works. The wonderful thing too is that we can do this treatment on any skin type so everyone can benefit from it.

Collagen Induction Roller (dermal roller)

Not all collagen induction rollers are made equal. There are many different needle sizes, there are different numbers of needles actually on the rollers and the needles themselves are made from many different materials.

Needless to say, the product that INBODY provides is the best that is available and here are the reasons why...

Our rollers have 540 needles and are made from medical grade Titanium. This makes them superior to many of the products on the market. This is important for a couple of reasons... firstly the higher number of needles improves the results (most rollers have approximately 200, ours has 540) Titanium needles also makes a difference as they do not rust. Even medical grade steel will eventually rust (all the cheaper rollers tend to be made from steel) now the frightening thing about rust is that it can be so fine that you can not actually see it, but it can get embedded in the skin and cause infections, which can in turn cause scaring. Size also matters, we supply collagen induction rollers that have 0.5 needles. You can get smaller and bigger needles but this size is a good average that we find will give you a good result for anti-aging and also treatment of scars. The titanium needles also don't wear out as quickly, but you will find that even titanium needles get blunt and you will need to replace your roller regularly depending on how often you use it.

Our collagen induction rollers come in their own protective cases which is ideal for keeping the delicate needles protected and also provides protection against dust and dirt.

Derma rollers have been around for quite a while now and due to their extensive use, they are FDA and CE approved. Having said that, you need to be careful when you use them. You are breaking the skin so it is important than you are meticulous with cleansing, both the device and your skin.

Another important point, if you want to get the best from your collagen induction treatment is that you must use high quality skin treatment products. The main reason that this therapy works so well is because it dramatically improves the penetration of your high quality treatments into the skin. I have read a few reviews on line that say that this treatment does not work, the only way that it couldn't work is if you were not incorporating great skin care products into your treatments. By adding cosmeceuticals with useful amounts of Vitamins C, E and A to your treatment regime you will see a result and fairly quickly. It's so easy to do and so effective.
