INBODY uses only the best cold pressed Grape Seed Oil as our carrier oil as it is light without a greasy touch and is easily absorbed into the skin. It is especially suitable for sensitive and inflamed dry skin. Where appropriate we us essential oils to assist in healing.
All our therapists are trained in Swedish massage which, although is a relaxing massage style, can still produce a very positive result on tired aching muscles. We generally encourage our clients to have either a 60 or 90-minute treatment to ensure we have enough time to give all the limbs, plus back and shoulders a good going over.
Essential oils derived from leaves, flowers and other parts of aromatic fruits and plants have been used for centuries for medicinal and therapeutic purposes as well as for general well being.
By incorporating essentials oils in your massage we can address your emotional state as well as your physical well being.
Hot stone massage has been used as a means of deep-tissue healing and relaxation for almost five thousand years. The warms of the stones loosens stiff muscles, which is fantastic after exercise. The combination of the heat and light massage will clear toxins and stimulate the metabolism, unblocking the body’s natural channels of energy, releasing stress and pre-menstrual tension.
This treatment takes 90 minutes and includes a soothing foot soak to start, a light body brushing, aromatherapy full-body massage, deep tissue massage using hot stones, stress relieving head massage and finishing with hot towel treatment.
We have specialist therapist trained in remedial massage that can assist you with any injuries or aches and pains that you may have. We recommend that you allocate a 90 minutes for this massage to allow us time to do a full consultation and also we generally find that once the massage begins there are a number of areas that will need work.
