We are fantastic at waxing. A big part of our business is waxing and in particular Brazilian waxing, for both men and women.

We use our own in-house manufactured talc, which ensures that we are applying only high quality products to your skin, we also manufacture our own after wax oil to ensure that we know exactly what is in the product, in case our clients have allergies. Both products are also 100% natural and made of the best ingredients that we can get.

We use both strip and hot wax depending on the area. We charge an additional 10% for clients requiring just hotwax. We do not recycle our wax.

After Hair Balm

We are so excited about this product, over the 7 years that we have been in business, we had been selling other manufacturers products that treat ingrown hairs and shaving rash, but our clients were telling us they were harsh, stingy and drying on the skin and also smelt bad. Most of them never used the product they purchased because they didnt enjoy using it, so we knew we had to come up with something different.

We worked with our cosmetic chemist and came up with a moisturising balm that is as good as anything else on the market but is much more pleasant to use. It is also a lot cheaper.

AFTER HAIR BALM comes in a convenient tin and goes on easily and leaves the skin feeling moisturised without leaving a sticky residue. You can use this product every day or just when you are having problems. We do recommend that you use it a couple of days before you wax (and on the actual day) as it makes the hair come out really easily. AFTER HAIR BALM is designed to exfoliate, so it is also fantastic on feet and hands or anywhere you would like to get rid of dry skin.

AFTER HAIR Balm is preservative free and where ever possible the ingredients it are natural.

Tendskin

Tendskin address the issues of ingrown hairs and rashes caused by hair removal.

The solution for any cosmetic problem related to hair removal. Men can use it on their face, neck and back of the head while women find it useful on legs, bikini line, underarms and anywhere else hair removal causes razor bumps. Use in conjunction with shaving, waxing electrolysis or epilating. Caution: If you have an allergy to Aspirin (hives, itching) do not use this product.

Ingredients:

Isopropyl Alcohol, Water (reverse osmosis), Propylene Glycol, Acetylsalicylate, Glycerin, Cyclomethicone.

Brazilian Waxing

Our therapists are extremely experienced in Brazilian waxing. We do lots of these treatments everyday so the therapists are quick and highly efficient so you will not be left exposed for long. For our regular clients who are getting Brazilian wax monthly this treatment often takes about 15 minutes. For those who are not doing it regularly it normally takes about 30 minutes and first timers, up to an hour.

Is pubic hair necessary? Medical opinion is that humans once needed protection against the elements, now days there does not seem to be a need for pubic hair. There is a thought that it is more hygienic to have pubic hair removed. Some clients also believe that by having a Brazilian wax their sexual arousal is also heightened as there is less resistance in the area during sexual intercourse. It is also generally accepted that in the incidence of pubic lice has dropped considerably because of the popularity of Brazilian waxing.

It is generally easier for the therapists if you don’t wear a gstring although you are welcome to if you so wish.

We firstly trim the area if it is necessary. The INBODY therapists use a mixture of hot and warm wax. The inside leg areas are normally done in strip wax and the more sensitive areas are done in hot wax. A traditional Brazilian includes the labia and the area that reaches into the buttocks.

This treatment is not as painful as you may think, but the key to minimising the pain is to relax. Chat to your therapist or mentally plan the rest of your day and it will be all over before you know it.

We also highly recommend that you use Tendskin ($39.95) or AFTER HAIR Balm ($24.95) both before and after your treatment to reduce the incidence of ingrown hairs which can be very painful in this area.

More males are starting to enjoy the experience of being completely hair free 'down there'. And why not... if it good enough for the goose, it is good enough for the gander.

While men do tend to be more squeemish when it comes to contemplating going completely nude, once they have had their first Brozilian they generally keep coming back. Our INBODY therapists are very experienced at doing male brazilians and so you will feel completely comfortable...although we have to admitt that the 'first is always the worst'.
